- The Clock - $52.7M
The artwork is literally a clock that counts the days Julian Assange, the founder of WikiLeaks, has been imprisoned. The clock was bought by a pool of almost 10,000 buyers and 100% of the funds went to support the legal defense of Assange.
- Beeple’s Human one - $28.9M
Another NFT work of art by Michael Winkelmann that combines physical and digital technology into a sculpture with four panels that display a video of a spaceman walking around changing environments. The art was sold by Christie’s auction house to one sold owner just three minutes after starting the auction.
- Crypto Punks by Larva Labs $7.6M - $23.7M
On of the first collections to be launched in the Ethereum network back in 2017. It features 10,000 unique pixel art characters; this also means that few people can get their hands on one of these NFTs. These punks are as rare as it gets, and it really shows in the price tag. As of today, the cheapest punk is selling for 71.95 ETH ($211,155 USD) according to their website. The most expensive punk sold for $23,7M USD.
